Home advantage tends to be huge to Lech Poznan but it may not be the case this time with the game behind closed doors, and league leaders Legia Warsaw could capitalise.

Legia returned to action with a 2-1 cup success at second tier side Miedz Legnica on Tuesday and get their Ekstraklasa campaign back up and running with an eight-point buffer at the top having won 11 of their last 14 league games.

Lech Poznan, who have had one day less preparation following Wednesday’s cup trip to Stal Mielec, were beaten 2-1 in October’s reverse fixture in Warsaw and have won only two of their last five league contests.

Meetings between these sides are notoriously close – three of the last four have been settled by a single goal – and that could be the case once more with Legia fancied to prevail.
