Leicester produced another efficient display last weekend as they beat Sunderland 2-0 at the Stadium of Light to maintain their seven point lead at the top of the Premier League. They are now just three wins away from guaranteeing a well deserved Premier League title.

This was their 5th win on the bounce, and they have managed to keep a clean sheet in every one of those matches as they look to redefine their playing style. Their gung-ho approach earlier in the season has been replaced with efficiency, determination, and solidity at the back.

It’s quite incredible how these players, none of whom have been involved a genuine title challenge before, have managed to maintain their composure in the title run in. They have lost just one of their last 15 matches in the Premier League and have kept a huge 11 clean sheets during this run.

West Ham’s own bid for success has faltered recently. A trio of draws in the Premier League has left them five points adrift of 4th placed Manchester City and one point behind Manchester United, and their midweek defeat in Upton Park’s FA Cup finale has sent them crashing out of the FA Cup.

They are now winless in five matches in all competitions, and away from home they have only managed two wins in their last eight attempts. Leicester, on the other hand, have won five of their last six home matches and have only lost at the King Power Stadium once all season.

It seems almost an inevitability that Leicester will grab another win on Sunday, and odds of 17/20 for them to secure their 22nd Premier League win of the season look excellent value. I’m going for yet another efficient and dogged display with a 1-0 correct score prediction at 13/2.
