Levante vs Atletico Madrid Predictions

The best bet is both teams to score in Saturday’s clash between Levante and Atletico Madrid at Ciutat de Valencia. Levante beat Elche 3-2 last Friday, and there should be goals at both ends in this one.

Atletico Madrid are third in the league, 16 places and 27 points above Levante. The hosts are 19th having won four and lost 11 of their 20 games this season, while Atletico have 13 wins and three defeats.

Levante’s recent form in the Primera Liga has been up and down, with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six games. They were 3-2 winners against Elche last Friday, but Atletico Madrid have been successful in four of their last five games and are aiming for a third straight league title.

The visitors have posed an attacking threat this season, scoring an average of 1.75 goals a game in their 12 Primera Liga games against bottom-half teams. Atletico Madrid will be optimistic of finding the net, having scored in five successive league games.

Neither side has been solid at the back of late. Levante have gone 13 home games without keeping a clean sheet, while Atletico Madrid have failed to keep a clean sheet in seven of their last eight games against Levante.
