Hosts are on the hunt

Lille remain in the hunt for a spot in the European places and currently sit just two points adrift of the top five. They boast the fourth best home record in Ligue 1 and have taken points in 10 of their 12 such fixtures. The hoasts haven’t looked completely solid defensively and do gift chances, as evident by the fact that both teams have hit the back of the net in eight of their 12 league games at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

The visitors have failed to win any of their last four outings and they sit just a point outside of the relegation zone. Picking points has never been more crucial and with added motivation, Brest could cause the hosts some problems here. They’re scoring an average of exactly a goal per away game and whilst they may not secure a victory here, they look good enough for a goal.
