Lyon vs Metz Predictions

Lyon have a host of injury problems and have looked rather disorganised defensively. They now face the possibility of heading into the winter break in the bottom half of Ligue 1 and will want to come flying out of the blocks. They lost this fixture 1-0 last season but had won the previous five head-to-heads to nil. The hosts are still the better side and will be eager to pepper the opponent’s goal.

That could allow Metz to hit on the counter and cause problems themselves. Their last three league fixtures have seen at least four goals and have been thoroughly entertaining. As well as that, just one of Metz’s last seven away league games has finished level.
