We use stars to rate our confidence in our tips, with 3 being most confident to 1 being the least.
Millwall 1-0 @ 11/2

Reason For Millwall vs Luton Predictions

  • Millwall have lost just five of their last 25 home league games, winning ten.
  • The Lions won last season’s corresponding fixture 3-1.
  • That result formed part of an 11-match losing streak that Luton endured on the road in 2019/20.

Millwall to harness home advantage

Millwall perhaps only achieved what was expected of them in beating Wycombe on Saturday, but the manner of their victory will have pleased boss Gary Rowett and Lions fans, considering they fell behind nine minutes into the contest at Adams Park.

Millwall eventually wore down the newly promoted side to secure a 1-2 success thanks to goals from Jed Wallace and Ryan Leonard, and they head into this midweek round of games seventh in the table and a point behind Tuesday’s opponents Luton Town.

After narrowly escaping relegation last term, it’s been a decent start overall for Luton with three wins bagged in five. Nonetheless, they fell well short in a 0-2 home defeat to Stoke at the weekend and a trip to The Den this week is hardly the ideal venue for The Hatters at they aim to bounce back.

The visitors lost 3-1 here last season; a defeat which came amidst a miserable 11-match losing streak on the road. Despite better efforts on their travels of late, Nathan Jones’ men aren’t exactly an away side to trust and Millwall have lost just five of their last 25 at The Den, winning ten.

At around evens, the hosts are a good bet to triumph this Tuesday. Rowett’s side should be buoyed by Saturday’s comeback win and the knowledge that they’ll jump into the top six with another victory here.

It may well be another grind, though, as five of Millwall’s last six Championship wins have been by a single goal. With that in mind, we’re also forecasting a 1-0 correct score.
