Tip Reasoning

  • Norwich City have won eight of their 12 away trips this season (D1, L3).
  • The Canaries have won three of their last four meetings against the Lions (D1).
  • Millwall have won just one of their 12 home league games this term.

Leaders Taken to Edge Matters at The Den

Norwich City have won three of their last four encounters with Millwall and the league leaders are taken at a shade of odds-against to enhance that record at The Den this Tuesday evening.

The Canaries were a touch below par when held to a goalless stalemate at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon, but we can be fairly confident that City will return to winning ways here.

Daniel Farke’s side have dropped points in consecutive games on just one occasion since the start of October and they travel to South East London this week having won eight of their last 11 Championship starts (D2, L1).

Norwich have won three of their last four on the road and their form, coupled with the 23 point gap between these teams in the table, undoubtedly points towards an away success on Tuesday – despite the fact that Millwall have been tough to beat at The Den this season.

The Lions have drawn eight and lost just three of their 12 home outings, but Norwich are top of the table for a reason and it’s hard to envisage the Canaries failing to match Coventry’s victory here at the start of the month.

We’re not expecting a landslide by any means at The Den, but City should pass this important test to move a step closer towards automatic promotion. Farke’s side have conceded in their last six away trips though, and that’s reckoned into our 1-2 correct score prediction.
