Having finished third in the Championship last season and missed out on automatic promotion by just a point in pursuit of Burnley, Milwall are desperate to secure Premier League status.

The Lions have been aggressive in the transfer window and they were rewarded in their opening league assignment, winning 2-0 at Bristol City and dominating the shot stats 24-8.

That came on the back of a penalty shootout success at QPR in the first round of the EFL Cup, in a match that ended 1-1, and the Den was a fortress last season as they won 13 of their 23 home league games.

Norwich will also have promotion ambitions this season and they were unlucky in their opening fixture, losing 2-1 at home to West Brom despite winning the shot count 20-9.

Having won 4-1 at home to MK Dons in the EFL Cup prior to that, Norwich can clearly create a hatful of chances and they won 15 of their final 23 matches last season.

That impressive run includes a 2-1 victory away at Millwall and that suggests this could be a high-scoring encounter.

Millwall had won 2-1 at Carrow Road earlier in the season and, given their confident start to the campaign, they look the most likely victors.
