Tip Reasoning

  • All but one of Millwall’s eight home games this season have produced under 2.5 goals.
  • Nine of Millwall’s last 11 matches overall have also generated fewer than 2.5 goals.
  • Millwall are winless in their last eight Championship outings (D5, L3), while QPR have lost their last three.
  • The visitors have also won just one of their eight away games this term, losing five.

Another Dull Affair at The Den

Both of these sides are woefully out of form and we’re expecting a scrappy contest with little goalmouth action at The Den this Tuesday night.

Millwall were in fairly decent shape up until the end of October after collecting 15 points from their first nine league matches, but the Lions have since taken an absolute nosedive and are winless in eight (D5, L3) going into this midweek clash against the Superhoops.

They turned in one of their worst performances of the campaign in a 0-1 defeat here to bottom club Derby County on Saturday – a game which further highlighted the Lions’ issues up front.

Millwall have now failed to score in five of their last eight games and that’s likely to point towards another low scoring spectacle at the Den this Tuesday, where seven of the hosts’ eight fixtures so far this term have produced under 2.5 goals.

That’s our wager for this London derby and we’re also tipping up a 1-1 score-line. Despite Millwall’s troubles, QPR have lost their last three and four of their last five on the road, so Mark Warburton’s men can hardly be fancied for the points either.
