Millwall vs QPR Predictions
- Millwall have scored at least two goals in three of their four home fixtures
- QPR are yet to keep a clean sheet in nine matches under Michael Beale
- Millwall have picked up nine of their ten points this season at The Den
Can Millwall pick up another win?
Millwall beat Cardiff 2-0 in their last home game to end a run of over five hours without a goal, but that sequence included two away games – at The Den they have been much stronger.
Gary Rowett’s side have also beaten Stoke 2-0 and Coventry 3-2 in East London, with four of their eight Championship outings seeing them score at least twice.
They ran out 2-0 victory in this fixture at this venue last year, but have beaten Rangers just once in the last eight meetings between the two sides.
QPR have defensive issues
Michael Beale admits his QPR side are still trying to find some consistency, a statement highlighted by a 1-0 defeat to Swansea last week, following on from wins over Watford and Hull.
The Loftus Road outfit are in fact yet to keep a clean sheet in nine outings under their new manager, conceding at least twice in three of their last seven Championship fixtures.
Two of those have been on the road, at Watford and Sunderland, while they are on a run of just three wins in 14 away league fixtures.
I predict that Millwall will score at least two goals in this match, selecting 2-1 to the hosts as a correct score prediction.
