      MK Dons vs Hull Predictions

19 places separate the sides in the table and that is probably a fair reflection on how both teams have been playing. Hull are 2nd and looking to close the gap on leaders Brighton who have a tough game at Reading this weekend.

Including a Capital One Cup win at home to Leicester in midweek they are unbeaten in 9 matches now and have only conceded 3 goals within the normal 90 minutes in that period. They look very solid in defence and it is hard to see MK Dons breaking them down here given they have only scored 8 goals in 12 matches since the opening day.

3 of those goals were against the 10 men of Blackburn in their last home match but that success remains their only victory in their last 10 games, 8 of which have ended in defeat. Any hope that they would use it as a springboard were quickly dispelled by 2-0 and 3-0 away defeats at Huddersfield and QPR respectively.

Those are their most recent games and it shaping up to be a long season for Karl Robinson’s side. At 11/10 then Hull look really good value to continue their good form and inflict a 9th defeat in 11 games on Milton Keynes.

The TIgers don’t usually win big though so it could still be a close contest. Hull may be a little bit tired from their efforts in midweek too but with their defensive prowess will still be confident of keeping a clean sheet and they should have enough to nick a 1-0 win which can be backed at 11/2.
