MK Dons vs Lincoln City Predictions

Both teams are laced with attacking options 

There is plenty of attacking talent on show in this one and I am defiantly expecting an entertaining game, one I hope will see plenty of goals. MK Dons have the best player in League One in Scott Twine, whilst Lincoln have added lots of firepower to their ranks in the January window. John Marquis has scored in both of his starts since joining from Portsmouth. Given the amount of attacking options both teams have, I can’t see either sitting back as both will fancy their chances.

History suggests to side with goals

The history of this fixture instils further confidence in the outright selection for this match. Both teams have scored in four of these last five meetings between MK Dons and Lincoln, four of these games have seen three or more goals been scored. The reverse fixture, at LNER Stadium in December finished 3-2 to MK Dons, and another high scoring contest would come as no surprise. Siding with goals in this one looks to be the prudent play.

The main selection for this match will be both teams to score and over 2.5 goals in the match. Given the amount of attacking threat that will line-up on Saturday it’s hard to oppose goals in this one. For my correct score prediction, I will take a chance on a 2-1 Lincoln win. I am very impressed with the quality of recruits they managed to get through the door in January and will chance them to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing loss to Burton.
