Molde vs Granada Predictions

• Molde have won just one of their last four Europa Leagues matches, drawing two of those games.
• Granada have only won one of their previous seven away matches across all competitions.
• The Spanish side have only kept one clean-sheet in their last 11 away games.

Draw enough to see Granada though

Molde are 2-0 down heading into Thursday’s second-leg, which is supposed to be being played on home soil, but instead will take place at the Puskas Arena in Hungary due to Norwegian coronavirus restrictions.

If that did not make the task at hand tough enough, Molde are also lacking match practice, as this will be just their fourth game of the calendar year, as the domestic season in Norway is not due to get underway until April.

That lack of sharpness perhaps showed during last week’s first-leg and Molde have now only won one of their previous four matches in the Europa League.

Granada followed up their first-leg victory by beating Real Sociedad in La Liga, but both those successes came on home soil, with Diego Martinez’ side finding things a lot tougher on the road.

Indeed, Granada have only won one of their last seven away games across all competitions and that sole victory was against lower league Navalcarnero in the Cope del Rey.

The Andalusians have not won an away match outside of the Copa del Rey since December and we are predicting that run to continue on Thursday, although our prediction is for a draw given Molde’s own struggles.

Our overall score prediction is for 1-1, as Molde have scored in nine of their last 10 games across all competitions, while Granada have kept just one clean-sheet across their previous 11 games on the road.
