Hosts need to turn things around

Monaco enters this clash on a four match winless streak which will be disappointing considering they had won all three prior matches. Two of those four matches saw them concede four goals in total and the defensive department is where they need to shore up and become watertight. They have at least managed to score in three of those four games mentioned and they’ll be desperate to get back on track by securing victory here.

The visitors are on a four match winless run of their own but their record reads as four straight defeats. They can consider themselves somewhat lucky having lost by just a single goal margin in three of those and they will also think it’s positive that they have found the back of the net with such frequency, scoring five times across their last three outings.

Goals are the way to go

Neither of these sides seems to have a clue what they’re doing when it comes to defending but both have also shown plenty of ability in the final third. We’re anticipating a high-scoring affair but we like both of these sides to get in on the action. As such, we’ll back both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.
