Monaco vs Brest Predictions
- Both teams have scored in five of Brest’s last six Ligue 1 away games.
- Monaco have found the net at least twice in their last six matches.
- Over 3.5 goals has been a winning bet in five of Monaco’s last six outings.
Monaco boosted by victory over PSG
Sitting seventh will be a big disappointment to Monaco at this stage of the Ligue 1 season but it looks as if they are getting their act together.
Sebastien Pocognoli’s side have won eight of their 13 home league matches this term and have scored 15 goals in their last six matches, a statistic that is even more impressive when you consider seven of those came in three games against Paris Saint-Germain.
That includes a 3-1 in the capital last week, but they may not have everything their own way when they face in-form Brest.
Brest head south on a decent run
Confidence should also be high in the visiting camp as they are unbeaten in their last six matches, winning their last three against Marseille, Metz and Le Havre.
They also beat Monaco 1-0 in December’s reverse fixture, but there is scope for this encounter to be much more open.
They have kept four clean sheets in their last five matches, but just one of those was on the road and more goals are expected on Saturday.
Over 3.5 goals, which would have been a winning in all but one of Monaco’s last six outings, provides some decent value and a repeat of Brest’s 2-2 draw at Nice at the beginning of last month could be worth following for correct-score punters.
