Dons can down Newport

MK Dons are the best bet to win at Newport on Saturday. The hosts are without a home win in League Two in seven games and could struggle to stop the promotion favourites.

After claiming four points from matches against Notts County and Crawley to start the season, Newport have slumped to consecutive defeats, losing 2-1 at Grimsby last weekend and 1-0 at home to Salford on Tuesday.

MK Dons could only draw with Crawley in midweek, but they are unbeaten after four League Two games this season and look a solid bet to win at Newport on Saturday.

After a 2-0 win at Barrow and a 5-0 demolition of Cheltenham, the Dons conceded for the first time this season in the 1-1 draw with Crawley, but Luke Offord’s second-half header saw them grab a share of the points.

A 2-1 win for MK Dons looks a decent correct-score bet. Three of Newport’s four League Two games have ended with both sides scoring and they have lost two matches on the spin by a single goal.
