Nice have had an excellent season so far and find themselves up in 3^rd position in Ligue 1. They aren’t in with much hope of challenging Monaco in 2^nd, but they do need to hold off a host of the chasing pack. A loss this weekend could see them drop to as low as 8^th in the table as Ligue 1’s race for a European qualification position heats up.

Bastia’s recent run of good form has seen them start to work their way up the table too. Their awful form in the first half of the season saw them in relegation trouble, but three wins from their last four matches has seen them move six points clear of the bottom three.
