Norwich vs Bournemouth Betting Tips

After losing their opening day fixture somewhat unfortunately against Crystal Palace, Norwich have picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and got on with business.

They followed the loss up with a 3-1 win over Sunderland, then battled to a draw with the newly continental Stoke City.

Southampton proved to be a problem though, with the Saints finally finding their form and winning 3-0 at St Mary’s.

However, Norwich have been impressive so far in their return to the Premier League. Nathan Redmond has been their major threat, with his pace and penetration being the main attacking outlet for the side.

Bournemouth, despite their high scoring ways in the Championship last season, initially struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League. They failed to score in either of their opening two games, losing 1-0 to both Liverpool and Stoke.

But they finally found their feet at Upton Park when they beat West Ham in a 4-3 thriller, with Callum Wilson bagging a hat trick.

Wilson added another one to his tally in their next game against Leicester, but his first half goal was cancelled out late in the game by a Jamie Vardy penalty to leave Bournemouth’s points tally at four.

Both teams will feel that this is their most winnable match yet in the Premier League, and I don’t think either team will settle for a draw.

Norwich managed to take four points off Bournemouth last season, with a 1-1 scoreline at home and a 2-1 win in Bournemouth.

Norwich have scored in all but one of their matches this season, and Bournemouth have netted in their three games since their goalless opening two games.

With both teams enjoying good attacking seasons last year, I am expecting both teams to get on the scoresheet in this match. Odds of 4/6 for this to happen look fair to me, and a 2-2 draw offers good value odds of 14/1.
