Forest can get their cup revenge on Seasiders

Nottingham Forest enjoyed a positive end to 2023 and they can start the new year with a win over Blackpool in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Tricky Trees dismissed manager Steve Cooper last month, replacing him with Nuno Espirito Santo, who has won two of his first three games in charge.

Both of those victories were impressive too, coming against Newcastle and Manchester United, and they should be full of confidence heading into this cup clash with Blackpool.

The Seasiders are no pushovers and demonstrated that last season with their 4-1 win over Nottingham Forest at Bloomfield Road.

However, this time around they must play at the City Ground and, although Blackpool are pushing for the playoffs in League One, they have racked up nine league defeats already this term.
