Osasuna looking in strong form

Osasuna’s 1-1 draw at Real Madrid last weekend might be considering a surprise result, but they have been in good form throughout the La Liga season so far.

Jagoba Arrasate’s side have won three of their four home matches, beating Sevilla, Cadiz and Rayo Vallecano, while they sit sixth in the table with 13 points from seven outings.

They also have a strong home record against Valencia, whom have beaten them just once in their last five trips to Estadio El Sadar, losing 3-1 on two occasions!

Valencia struggling on the road

Valencia’s away form is a serious concern, given they have lost two of their three matches on the road, with the other ending as a 2-2 draw at Espanyol.

Gennaro Gattuso’s side have been surprisingly poor at the back, conceding at least two goals in their last two matches on their travels.

They sit only three points behind Osasuna in the table, but nine of their ten points have been picked up at the Mestalla, while they are now eight without a win in all competitions on the road.
