      Monaco to Win

      Reason for tip

Seven straight league wins mean Monaco are the most in-form team in Europe’s top five leagues and they can maintain their impressive run in the capital. The Monegasques sensational sequence includes victories over PSG, Marseille and Lyon, so it is hard to see mid-table Paris FC coping with Sebastien Pocognoli’s men.

      Monaco 2-1

      Reason for tip

While Monaco are expected to take three points, Paris FC may have enough to give their fans something to cheer. The Blues are unbeaten in six games, failing to find the net only once in that run, and can get on the scoresheet to make it three consecutive 2-1 wins for the Monegasques.

      Paris FC vs Monaco Predictions

      • Paris FC are on a six-match unbeaten run
      • No team in Europe’s top five leagues can better Monaco’s current win streak of seven
      • The Monegasques have won three of their last four away matches

Mighty Monaco showing no signs of slowing down

A six-game unbeaten run has seen Paris FC move nine points clear of Ligue 1’s relegation playoff place, suggesting they will not be making an immediate return to the second tier.

Antoine Kombouare’s side can play the rest of the season without pressure but while they have some talented players, they are still some way off Ligue 1’s best sides – a category which includes their next opponents, Monaco.

Having won their last seven league games, the Monegasques are in even better form than their hosts and the gulf in quality is likely to show on Friday.

Paris to be punished by in-form Monegasques

Paris FC will be hoping home advantage will tip the balance in their favour. However, a trip to the capital will not faze Monaco in the slightest given they won 3-1 at leaders PSG just last month.

Friday’s hosts are not afraid to spend big money and may be one to watch out for next season. For now, though, they remain a lesser side than the red-hot Monegasques, whose back-to-back wins over Lyon and Marseille prove they are a cut above the Blues.
