Can Parma get back to winning ways?

Parma may not get a better chance to end their winless streak than in this clash against the team currently sitting bottom of Serie A.

Fabio Pecchia’s side have gone eight games without a victory, but five of those matches, including each of the last four, have ended as draws.

The most recent of them was a 2-2 stalemate against Juventus, a game fixture which the Crusaders led twice, before being pegged back.

That would suggest they are beginning to get to grips with life back in the top flight, and it is also worth noting their only win this season came at home; a 2-1 success when facing AC Milan in August.

Genoa in deep trouble

If Parma are struggling, then the prognosis is even worse for opponents Genoa, who have accumulated a terrible six points from their opening ten Serie A fixtures.

That means they sit bottom of the division, and they head into this match on a nine-match winless run, losing half a dozen of those outings, including the last two.
