Portugal need a win to stand any chance of qualifying from Euro 2025 Group B, but the already eliminated Belgium may extend the favourites’ winless run on Friday.

A Selecao das Quinas picked up a point against Italy last time out, but they had just one shot on target in that 1-1 draw and were deservedly thrashed by Spain in their opener.

This extended their winless streak to seven games, one of which was a 3-0 loss to Belgium in June.

Despite their elimination, Belgium have actually shown more promise than Portugal in their defeats to Spain and Italy. They netted twice against La Roja and were only marginally worse than Italy in their opener.

They have only lost two of their eight meetings with Portugal, and backing them in the double chance market appeals. With both struggling going forward, a repeat of Portugal’s 1-1 draw with Italy could also be on the cards.
