Queen of the South come into this game as favourites and they do so in fine form having enjoyed a pre season where they won all 4 friendlies and hammered in 17 goals although the opposition wasn’t particularly fierce. It seems to have done them some good though and they cruised to a 2-0 win at Queen’s Park at the weekend in their opening League Cup game thanks to 1st Half goals from Jake Pickard and Andy Dowie.
