RB Leipzig vs Eintracht Frankfurt Predictions

• Leipzig have won six straight home games 
• Frankfurt have managed just one in five away matches 
• RB have won ten of their last 13 matches 

Frankfurt face a tough test 

Saturday’s late kick-off in the Bundesliga sees Leipzig welcome Frankfurt and the hosts will be hoping they have a chance to pile some pressure on runaway leaders Bayern Munich, who face a tricky trip to Stuttgart earlier in the day. 

Leipzig are currently eight points behind the Bavarians but a favour from Stuttgart could bring some added motivation for Ole Werner’s men. 

However, even if Bayern do prevail, as they so often do, RB have won six straight home games and should have too much for an inconsistent Frankfurt. 

Leipzig likely to take all three points

Eintracht are also challenging at the right end of the table, starting the weekend in seventh, but they have become a hard team to trust. 

Their only two wins in seven have come against Cologne, a side in the bottom half of the German top flight, and Bundesliga basement boys Mainz, suggesting they lack the quality for this trip to the Red Bull Arena. 

Frankfurt’s sidelined star striker Jonathan Burkardt is a big miss and while influential playmaker Can Uzun may make a timely return, even that is unlikely to be enough to stop in-form Leipzig from making it 11 wins from 14 games.
