Salernitana looking to escape drop zone

Having looked dead and buried for most of the Serie A season, Salernitana could escape the relegation zone when they host Venezia in their game in hand on Thursday. Considering Venezia’s predicament, Soncin’s men must go for the throat on Thursday night, but they have scored just 28 goals in 34 league games, and 11 in 17 on the road. Momentum is certainly with Salernitana, and they look worth backing for a crucial win which would virtually seal Venezia’s fate.

Salernitana have seen both teams score in four of their last five matches, so a repeat of their earlier 2-1 victory over their fellow struggler looks a decent correct score prediction.
