Sassuolo have won four of their last seven Serie A games against Bologna and they look good to add to that good run on Monday. The hosts come into this clash having won four of their last five at home, after they struck twice in the final 10 minutes to come from behind to beat Empoli in their last turn at the MAPEI Stadium.

The Neroverdi boast one of Europe’s form forwards, with Domenico Berardi one of just two players in Europe to record more than five goals and five assists in 2023. However, the visitors should be confident of causing problems in this trip. He has scored against them in each of the last four calendar years, while the forward has scored in three of his last four games and can keep that form going in this one.

Orsolini has opened the scoring on six occasions for Bologna this term, but his side have a terrible record when it comes to holding on to leads. Only Troyes (25) have dropped more points from winning positions than the visitors in the big five European leagues this season (24, level with Leicester).
