In-form Sassuolo entertain Monza

Sassuolo take on Monza at the Mapei Stadium on Monday as they seek a third successive Serie A victory.

The Neroverdi looked low on confidence just a few weeks ago as they threw away a 2-0 lead in a 4-2 loss at promoted Frosinone but they have responded in style, beating title challengers Juventus (h) and Inter Milan (a) 4-2 and 2-1 respectively.

Monza have just one league win after six games and have managed just one point from three away outings so far, although they have had a tough run of fixtures.

Neroverdi can continue winning streak

Monza have gone four games without a win but they have drawn three of those. However, home stalemates with Lecce and Bologna are hardly encouraging and with sassuolo coming into this clash on the back of wins over Juve and Inter a victory for the home side has strong appeal as our main bet.

Goals have been a problem for the Biancorossi as they have just four in six games so far, but Sassuolo have already shipped 12 goals in just six games and are yet to keep a clean sheet so we may see goals at both ends. As such, a 3-1 win for the hosts seems a reasonable correct score prediction as Sassuolo have hit 11 goals across their last four games – scoring at least twice on each occasion.

Neroverdi striker Domenico Berardi has four goals in four games after a delayed start to the season, having been the subject of summer transfer speculation, and he stands out as the best candidate for an anytime goal.
