      Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Sheffield United have had a sticky start to the season and while they should be positive at home after their 4-1 defeat on opening weekend against Bristol City, Millwall have already won at Norwich and are capable of finding the net.

      Draw 1-1

      Reason for tip

Millwall can usually be relied upon to find the net when they head to Bramall Lane and with confidence low in the Blades’ camp, a 1-1 draw looks an attractive correct-score bet.

      Sheffield United vs Millwall Predictions

      • Seven of the last nine meetings have featured fewer than three goals
      • Millwall have scored on 11 of their last 13 visits to Bramall Lane
      • Sheffield United have won just four of their last 13 games

      Blades suffering a playoff hangover

Sheffield United were just 14 minutes away from securing a return to the Premier League in May, but this term has not gone well and they could face another difficult game against Millwall on Saturday.

Life under Ruben Selles started with the new manager having to give his players a stern on-field talking to after they lost 4-1 at home to Bristol City in the opening game, and nothing seems to have gone in as they subsequently fell to an EFL Cup loss at Birmingham and a 1-0 defeat in the league at Swansea last week.

It is no time to panic but the pressure will be on for the visit from the Lions, who can prove tough opponents for any Championship team.

Millwall a match for any Championship outfit

Alex Neil’s team usually find themselves in mid-table in the second-tier but their ambitions will be greater this term and they have already proved themselves with a 2-1 win at Norwich on opening day.

A 3-0 home loss to Middlesbrough last week should ensure they are positive and as they have failed to score in just two of their last 13 visits to the Blade, there looks a decent chance that both teams will score, with correct-score punting enthusiasts pointed towards a 1-1 draw.
