SonderjyskE vs Randers Betting Tips & Predictions

SonderjyskE are heading towards a fantastic finishing position in the Danish Superliga. Last season they were just four points off a return to the 2nd flight of Danish football but 12 months on and they have already wrapped up their best finishing position in the Superliga in the modern era.

They come into the second to last game of the season in 2nd position in the table. The title has already gone to Copenhagen, who are now seven points clear of them at the top of the table, but four points from their final two games would wrap up 2nd position and put them group to the Champions League qualifiers.

There is still work to do though. They travel to Brondby on the final day of the season, which will be a tough fixture, so a win on Thursday would massively boost their chances of holding off 3rd placed Midtjylland.

SonderjyskE are in excellent form as well. They did lose at Midtjylland last Saturday, but their record still stands at six wins and one defeat from their last seven outings in the Superliga. At home it’s even better with seven wins and a draw from their last eight Superliga outings.

Randers aren’t having such an impressive season. Last season’s 4th place finishers sit in an uninspiring 6th position in the table having collected 43 points from their first 31 games, 15 points fewer than their opponents on Thursday.

Midtjylland saw them off at Randers on Sunday with a 2-1 win to make it two defeats, two wins, and two draws from their last six matches. Away from home they are actually more impressive though having won three of their last four and drawn the remaining fixture.

However, they have nothing left to play for at the moment and SonderjyskE are in excellent form at Sydbank Park. They have managed to beat the likes of Midtjylland and Brondby during this current unbeaten streak at home, so odds of 4/5 for them to add another three points to their tally look good value. I’m going for a 2-0 correct score prediction at 8/1 as well.
