Standard Liege’s six-game unbeaten run was brought to an end by Gent at the weekend as they fell to a 3-1 defeat. The home side are currently 12th in Belgium’s top-flight and advanced to this stage of the cup with a narrow 1-0 win at second-tier outfit, Mouscron back in October.

Despite their long unbeaten run the home side have now won just two of their last seven matches but both came by a narrow 1-0 score-line hence our 1-0 correct score prediction as I expect Standard to just about squeeze through in this one.
