Fulham To Win To Nil

Reason for tip

Stoke and Fulham have hit a poor run of form but the Premier League side have little left to play for this term so can give the FA Cup their full attention. Stoke, despite being 14th in the Championship, are just four points off the playoff spots, so may have an eye on improving their league form. The goals have dried up for the Potters recently and they may find their top-flight rivals too hard to break down.

Fulham 2-0

Reason for tip

Fulham have also struggled for goals in recent outings but they should be able to find their shooting boots against their struggling hosts. The Cottagers were shut out by Manchester City in a 2-0 loss on Wednesday, but they have scored at least two goals in five of their last eight matches, a run which includes braces against Manchester United, Brighton, Chelsea and Liverpool. Backing a 2-0 victory to the away side looks a solid correct-score option.

Stoke City vs Fulham Predictions

  • Stoke have failed to score in five of their last seven matches.
  • One or both teams have failed to score in 18 of the last 22 meetings.
  • Fulham have to nil in two of their last three meetings with Stoke.

Potters may not be hard to crack

Fulham have hit the skids recently but they can end their three-match losing streak with a comfortable victory over Stoke in this FA Cup fourth-round clash.

The Cottagers lost 3-0 at Manchester City on Wednesday but we predict that they can quickly respond with a win to nil of their own when they head to the Potteries.

Marcio Silva’s men were in decent nick until this cold spell kicked in, but it hasn’t been an easy schedule with the City trip following jaunts to Leeds and Manchester United, along with home fixtures against Everton and Brighton.

Things looks slightly easier this weekend as they face a Stoke side who have fallen off the play-off pace in the Championship following a six-match winless streak, but they are not completely out of the top-six race and they may have more of an eye on that then they do prolonging their cup run.

Whichever way Mark Robins’ side approach this match, they are likely to find Fulham too strong and a 2-0 win for the Premier League side looks a likely outcome.

Stoke have failed to score in five of their last seven outings, and one or both teams have failed to make the scoresheet ion 18 of the last 22 match-ups.

Fulham’s sticky spell was preceded by a decent scoring and they can get back on track with a comfortable victory at the bet365 Stadium on Sunday.
