      Tip Reasoning

A new look Stoke struggled enormously at the start of the season as it took them six failed attempts before they finally found their first victory.

But a win against Fulham in the Capital One Cup set them off on a spell of good form that they are still enjoying.

They have won four of their last seven matches in all competitions, only losing one game against Watford.

They drew against Newcastle last weekend, but before that they knocked Chelsea out of the League Cup on penalties after a 1-1 draw. This 1-1 draw was a fairly kind result for Chelsea, who really deserved to lose in normal time.

Stoke currently sit in 14th position with 13 points from their opening 11 games, two points and one position better off than their opponents on Saturday.

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what is wrong with Chelsea at the moment. The squad appears fragmented and Jose Mourinho seems to be losing his mind as he endures his worst spell in his managerial career.

He will be serving a one match stadium ban for this match after one of his many outbursts at the match officials during Chelsea’s defeat to West Ham.

Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Dynamo Kiev in midweek was only their second victory in their last nine matches in all competitions. They have lost five of these games.

The Chelsea squad simply aren’t performing at the moment, and with recent reports emerging that the players would prefer to lose than win for Mourinho it’s hard to see them getting against any in form team at the moment.

Stoke are definitely an in form team as well, so I think they’ve got a great chance of picking up a point or three against the Premier League champions on Saturday.

We’re 12 weeks in to Chelsea poor form now, and the bookies still don’t seem to be taking note of their shocking record. The odds on offer for a Stoke Win or Draw Double Chance sit at 4/5, which look just too good to turn down.
