Nottingham Forest and Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

Goals look likely in this one and successful strikes are likely at both ends, but take Forest to come out on top against Sturm Graz, who have lost their last three matches.

      Nottingham Forest 2-1

      Reason for tip

Forest earned a creditable point against Manchester United on Saturday, which new manager Sean Dyche will see as a decent building block, so take them to claim a 2-1 victory in this one.

Sturm Graz vs Nottingham Forest Predictions

      • There have been at least two goals in all but one of Nottingham Forest’s 14 games this season.
      • Five of Sturm Graz’s last six matches have featured at least three goals.
      • Graz have not drawn any of their 16 matches this term.

Forest heading in the right direction

Nottingham Forest will view Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Manchester United as a decent result as they look to turn the corner under Sean Dyche and they can make another stride under their new boss when they travel to Sturm Graz on Thursday.

Forest gained only their second win of the season in the former Burnley and Everton boss’s first game at the helm as two penalties help them to a 2-0 victory over Porto and it looks as if they could be playing Sturm Graz at the right time.

The Austrians have beaten Rangers in this year’s competition, but they have lost their last three games, including a 2-1 Europa reverse against Celtic, who have also had to endure some difficult times recently.

However, while the Tricky Trees look to hold the upper hand, there is scope for there to be at least goals at both ends in this showdown.

Graz’s home form is a concern

There have been at least three goals in all but one of Sturm Graz’s last six matches, but they have struggled with inconsistency, having also lost to Danish side Midtjylland, who head into this week’s fixtures at the top of the Europa League standings.

There are also concerns for the home side that they have lost three of their four Bundesliga matches on their own patch, so while Forest wins have been few and far between in a season that has already seen them under the guidance of three managers, they can come out on top of this one.

The Porto success brought their only clean sheet of the campaign, so take Forest to win with both teams scoring, and a 2-1 away win may be of interest to correct-score betting enthusiasts.
