Swindon vs MK Dons Predictions

MK Dons are in good form and look set to continue their strong away record when they visit Swindon at the County Ground on Saturday. MK Dons have won on four of their last six League Two away trips and have only lost one of their last eight.

They are second in League Two, three places above Swindon, with both teams having won more games than they’ve lost this season. MK Dons have won 19 and lost six of their 36 games, while Swindon have 19 wins and 11 defeats.

MK Dons maintained their winning habit with a 5-1 victory away at Gillingham in their last League Two game. Alex Gilbey set the tone by opening the scoring on the quarter hour, and four others also found the net. MK Dons, who were priced as 23/20 favourites, triumphed with something to spare.

Swindon look frail defensively. They have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five League Two games and in four of their last six at home. Their last shut-out was against Newport last month.

In contrast, MK Dons have momentum on their side, aiming for a third straight League Two success. They have lost just one of their last seven meetings with Swindon and have tasted victory in five of their last seven league games.

Swindon are in a slump, having gone three League Two games without a win.

No team has more League Two goals this season than MK Dons’ 72 in 36 games, and they have scored at least twice in three of their last four matches. They notched up a 5-1 win over Gillingham on Tuesday.

MK Dons can edge this, with a 1-0 correct score in favour of the visitors looking like a decent bet. MK Dons were 1-0 winners against Swindon last time they met in League Two, and eight of Swindon’s 11 defeats have come by the odd goal.
