Torino vs Lazio Predictions

Torino are currently handily placed safely in mid-table, but unless their home form improves they could yet slip down the table and find themselves in relegation danger. One home league win since November is a sign of their troubles at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino this season. Torino have Juventus and Inter coming up in their next few matches so will need to win points now to steer clear of the bottom three.

Lazio’s season is in danger of petering out, with the club having won only one of their last six league matches. Defenders Stefan de Vrij, Santiago Gentiletti, Dusan Basta and Stefan Radu are all expected to miss this match, but it is in attack where the team has a lot of problems having failed to score in five of their last six league games. Lazio are well off the continental qualification places and the best they can probably hope for is to finish in the top eight, but a trip to Torino represents an opportunity to get back to their best form.

However, a meeting between two struggling sides rarely results in a thrilling goal-fest and this could well be a tight counter in Turin. Lazio’s problems in front of goal are clear and Torino have fared little better, failing to score in their last two matches. Backing under 2.5 goals at 8/13 with bet365 therefore looks a solid Serie A selection, while the 0-0 draw at 7/1 with bet365 also stands out.
