UCD had picked up a massive win at home to Sligo, only their second win of the campaign, before being torn apart by Saints and now look back to square one.

They are firmly rooted to the foot of the Irish Premier Division, 15 points from safety ahead of a meeting with a resilient Shelbourne team.
