Udinese vs Genoa Predictions

Genoa are the best bet to beat Udinese at Stadio Friuli on Monday.

Udinese are nine points better off than Genoa, who sit 16th in the table. The hosts are ninth with five wins, three draws and five losses, while the visitors have two wins, five draws and six defeats from their 13 games this season.

Genoa are in fine form going forward, having scored at least twice in four consecutive Serie A games. They have found the net in their last four league matches, including a 3-3 draw with Cagliari two weeks ago.

Udinese are unreliable favourites. They have failed to win five of their last seven Serie A games as favourites.

Genoa have kept five clean sheets in the last six Serie A meetings with Udinese, including the last three head-to-heads.

Genoa are in good form away from home, having gone four games without defeat – their longest run this season. They have only lost once in their last nine Serie A head-to-heads with Udinese, the last time being a 2-0 defeat to Cremonese in October.

They can edge this, with a 1-0 correct score in favour of the visitors looking like a decent bet. Seven of the last eight Serie A meetings between these sides have had fewer than three goals and Genoa were 1-0 winners against Udinese last time they met in the league.
