Real Madrid are in form, unbeaten in eight of their last nine league games and having won four of their last six on the road. They come into this match aiming for a fourth straight Primera Liga success and they thumped Salzburg 5-1 on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Both teams are struggling defensively. No side has shipped more goals in the Primera Liga this season than the 39 Valladolid have conceded, while Real Madrid have also been unable to keep their opponents at bay in four straight league games – their longest run without a clean sheet.

Real Madrid can secure a comfortable win and a 3-1 victory is the favoured correct score option. They have won five times in La Liga this season by a two-goal margin and have been at least two-goal winners in two of their last three games.
