Benfica chase fourth straight win

Benfica took the Portuguese title on the final day last term and they look in no mood to surrender it, having won three games on the spin. The champions did slip up in their opener at Boavista, but they laid down a marker last month with a 2-0 Super Cup victory over rivals Porto.

Benfica return from the international break against a Vizela side who have been a part of some entertaining clashes already this term. The hosts picked up their first win of the campaign at the start of September before the two-week break, but can they add to that against the champions?

While Benfica have made a strong start, they have seen some issues crop up defensively. They threw away a lead at Boavista late on to lose 3-2 and they shipped two goals in a 3-2 victory at Gil Vicente last month.
