Welling United vs Bromley Betting Tips

Welling United narrowly avoided relegation last season as they finished level on points with 21^st placed Alfreton Town but were saved from the drop thanks to a superior goal difference.

They didn’t look to be in much better shape at the start of this season either, winning their opening game but then going on a nine match winless streak where they lost six times.

But a win at Gateshead in the middle of September saw them turn things around, and they are currently on a four match winning streak in the Conference.

This has lifted them to 15^th position in the table with 18 points from their opening 14 games, and a win on Tuesday could move them as high as 11^th.

Bromley have started their season incredibly well considering they are one of the newly promoted sides to the league.

They finished as champions of the Conference South last season, and they endured the same misery as Welling in the opening weeks of the season.

They also won their opening game, but then suffered a six match winless streak where they lost four times.

But it was Gateshead again that turned their season around, with a 3-0 win at home to them seeing them embark on a six match winning streak in the Conference National.

This came to an end on Saturday as they fell to a 4-0 loss at promotion hopefuls Tranmere Rovers.

But they do sit in a very comfortable 9^th position in the Conference National with a good return of 23 points in 14 games.

I think the home advantage will play a part here. Bromley have lost three of their last six away games in the league despite their overall good form, whilst Welling United have only lost once in their last seven home fixtures.

Considering they also have the marginally better squad than the visitors, I think a Welling United win at odds of 17/10 look really good value, especially considering that Welling have won the last three meetings between the sides.
