West Brom vs Crystal Palace Predictions
West Brom really haven’t had the best of seasons so far. They have struggled to gather any sort of momentum in the Premier League and their misery was compounded last weekend when they lost 3-1 to Reading in the FA Cup 5th Round. They can’t say it hasn’t been coming though; they were taken to replays by lower league opposition in both the 3rd and 4th rounds. But they did manage to end their five match winless streak in the Premier League last time out though, with a 1-0 win at Goodison Park providing some very welcome positive news.
Crystal Palace started their season very well, but a lack of goalscoring threat was always going to come back to haunt them. Indeed it did; they went on a run of seven games in which they failed to score in five of them, with four defeats seeing them continue a slide down the table. This leaves both sides on 32 points after their 26 Premier League games, and the highest either team can move this weekend is 12th.
Reasons for Betting Tips
West Brom’s win against Everton last time out will have buoyed their confidence after a poor winless run, and their recently faltering defence should be able to hold off the luke warm Crystal Palace attack. They are unbeaten in four home matches in the Premier League as well, whilst Crystal Palace are winless in the Premier League over the same period.
Playing against Crystal Palace will suit Tony Pulis’ side. They try to remain solid at the back and snatch the odd goal, and I don’t think they will have any trouble containing a Crystal Palace attack who’s biggest threat is a relatively unfit Emmanuel Adebayor. The visitors have lost six of their last seven league matches as well, so it’s not looking good for Alan Parew. The home advantage should edge it for the hosts, and I think they’ll get a narrow win on Saturday. A 1-0 correct score prediction looks good to me along with a West Brom 0.0 Asian Handicap at excellent value odds of 1.975. Don’t expect it to be a thriller of a match though.

West Brom – Defensive trio Gareth McAuley, Jonny Evans, and Craig Dawson are hoping to recover in time, but are definitely doubts. But Callum McManaman and James Morrison are definitely out.
Crystal Palace – Jason Puncheon and Kwesi Appiah remain sidelined, with Papa Souare joining them due to a suspension.
