Predictions & Tips

Both Teams To Score @ 20/23

We use stars to rate our confidence in our tips, with 3 being most confident to 1 being the least.
Draw 1-1 @ 13/2

Reason For West Bromwich Albion vs Nottingham Forest Predictions

  • West Brom have conceded in 93% of their home games.
  • Each of the last 3 meetings between these two has seen both teams score.
  • BTTS has landed in 80% of West Brom’s home matches this term.
  • A 1-1 draw has been the most frequent result for West Brom at home and Forest away.

Setback for Forest

After their big showdown at Elland Road last weekend, Nottingham Forest are putting their promotion ambitions under the microscope again. They are heading to the Hawthorns in this huge battle, but can Forest return to form?

A midweek loss to Charlton took the sting out of the visitors’ chase for the top two. Meanwhile, West Brom claimed another win to move clear at the top of the table once again. Will they follow that up with a victory?

Baggies Bounce Back

The hosts were able to claim a third straight win when they visited Reading on Wednesday night. While there’s just two points between fifth-placed Forest and Leeds in second, West Brom are now six points clear at the summit.

The Baggies are moving in the right direction again after their mid-season slump. However, the hosts have got a point to prove at home. They won against Luton here last time out, but they’ve struggled at the Hawthorns of late, while they’ve conceded in 93% of their league games here.

Forest’s Scoring Tour

The visitors are primed to take advantage of West Brom’s defensive woes. Forest come into this clash having seen both teams score in each of their last three meetings with the Baggies, while they’ve hit their stride on the road. The visitors have now scored in each of their last seven away trips.

With Forest on that scoring run on the road, we’re backing them to strike against a Baggies outfit who have seen both teams score land in 80% of their home games. With that in mind, we are going with both teams to score as our tip in this one.

Forest have lost only three times in 16 trips this season, so we expect the visitors to do well in this clash. They come here having troubled many of the league’s top sides on the road, while this West Brom side have had their problems. The hosts have drawn 11 times so far, with 1-1 their most frequent score at this ground. The same goes for Forest’s trips, so a 1-1 draw is our pick here.
