West Ham

      Tip Reasoning

West Ham kicked the season off in dreamland, securing a completely unexpected 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates thanks to some calamitous goalkeeping and defending.

They couldn’t carry this form back to Upton Park with them though as they succumbed to a 2-1 victory against the surprisingly good Leicester City.

Goalkeeper Adrian was West Ham’s saviour on the opening day of the season, but after being sent off for serious foul play late on against Leicester he will miss the match against Bournemouth. This will be a real blow for West Ham.

West Ham are also missing striking partnership Valencia and Carroll, whilst Bournemouth will have to do without Atsu and MacDonald.

Bournemouth haven’t disgraced themselves at all so far in the Premier League. The Championship winners haven’t had the same success going forward as they enjoyed in the second flight, but they have seemed good defensively.

They lost to a second half goal from Rudy Gestede in the opening day of the season, and a first half goal from Benteke was enough to give Liverpool the 3 points on Monday evening.

The fact that they haven’t scored yet will be a bit of a concern to Bournemouth fans, but they have been playing 2 pretty good defensive sides in their opening 2 games.

West Ham didn’t look great at the back against Leicester, and the absence of Adrian could make matters even worse on Saturday. I think Bournemouth will definitely get their first goal of the campaign against The Hammers.

Dimitri Payet seems to be the only real threat West Ham possess at the moment, and with Bournemouth desperately searching for their first points of the season I think they have a real chance. Odds of 4/6 for a Bournemouth Win or Draw Double Chance look like excellent value as well, so that’s what we’re backing.
