Wolves vs MK Dons Predictions
MK Dons have struggled to adapt to the demands of the Championship and come into this fixture in the bottom 3, when the hope was that they could at least avoid a relegation scrap this term. They have lost 10 of their last 14 matches but have taken 4 points from their last 3 thanks to a 1-0 win at home to Charlton and a point also at Stadium MK against Fulham.
They’ve picked up just 1 point from their last 6 away games though and they may find it tough to add to that at Molineux this weekend.
Wolves narrowly missed out on the play-offs last term but are down in 14th place currently. They should probably be doing a bit better and can move into the top half with a win here.
They’ve had a reasonable run of results with just 1 defeat coming in their last 4 fixtures, 3 of which were away from home. However almost typical of their season that defeat came in what should have been their easiest game against struggling Bristol City.
They will still take heart from solid draws against Ipswich and Burnley and a win at Birmingham though, given all three sides are currently above them and in the top 10.
If they can play at that level again then they should have too much for MK Dons in this one. The visitors just seem a little short on quality and have been badly exposed by some of the stronger sides so consider backing a home win at odds of 5/6.
Wolves have a habit of making things difficult for themselves though and MK Dons did push unbeaten Brighton pretty close in their last away game so there might only be one goal in it and a 2-1 victory for the hosts looks appealing at odds of 15/2.
