Wrexham vs Tranmere Betting Tips

Wrexham started the season very well, getting over their opening day defeat to go on a five match winning streak in the Conference National.

They have been a bit less consistent recently though, and are coming into this match on the back of two straight defeats after a run of just one win in their last five games.

Their early season winning streak put them in good stead though, and they sit in a decent 7^th place in the Conference National with 23 points from their opening 14 games.

Tranmere are in a better position though, sitting in 3^rd position and hoping to continue their form to ensure a quick return to League Two following last season’s relegation.

They have won their last three league matches on the trot and are currently on an eight match unbeaten streak.

They have actually only lost twice so far this season, but a total of five draws have seen them drop more points than they would have liked.

Four of these draws have come on their travels, and they have only won two of their seven away days in the Conference so far.

Wrexham did lose their last home match at the end of September which followed a goalless draw against Grimsby. But before this they had won all five of their home matches in the league so far.

Two of the last five games between these sides have ended all square, with Tranmere winning twice and Grimsby taking all the points on one occasion.

Tranmere aren’t letting anyone beat them easily this season, and with only two defeats under their belt I think they can avoid defeat against a Grimsby side who haven’t had the best of times these past couple of weeks.

Odds of 3/4 for a Tranmere Win or Draw Double Chance look really good value as well, so that’s what I’m backing along with a 1-1 draw at 11/2.
