Chair Boys unlikely to sit back

A 90th-minute Bruno Guimaraes winner denied Fulham a point at Newcastle on Saturday and while it was an improved performance from the Cottagers, they have nothing to show for it and have now lost four games in a row. 

Their last win came against Cambridge in the EFL Cup and they will be hoping the same competition can help them snap their ongoing losing streak. 

A trip to League One Wycombe looks a great opportunity for Marco Silva’s men to bounce back to winning ways on paper, but the Chair Boys are in fine form and have the tools to trouble their Premier League visitors. 

Cottagers could be made to work hard

Wycombe have lost just one of their eight games under Michael Duff and highlighted their improvement in scintillating fashion on Saturday, routing Huddersfield 3-0 to make it five games without a defeat. 

Beating Fulham could prove beyond them, given Silva tends to rotate less than most top-flight managers in the cups, but they should certainly give the Cottagers a game. 

Both teams have scored in five of Fulham’s last six away games and, with their hosts in excellent form, the same bet appeals at Adams Park.
