No goal fest at Adams Park

Saturday’s League One clash between Wycombe and Reading at Adams Park is unlikely to produce many goals. Three of Reading’s four League One matches this season have gone under 2.5 goals and that trend looks set to continue here.

Wycombe are without a win in four League One games this season and have won just one of their last six home matches, while Reading are also finding life tough. Both teams have just one point on the board.

Reading ended a run of four straight defeats on Wednesday with a 1-1 draw at Bolton, a result that kept up their recent trend for matches with under 2.5 goals. Andre Garcia netted for Reading, who were priced at 4/1 to win the game and would have been far happier than Bolton with the draw.

In addition to two away matches this season, two of Reading’s last three matches of last term also featured under 2.5 goals.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Both teams have scored in three of Wycombe’s four League One games this season and that trend is set to continue here.
