Young Boys vs CFR Cluj Predictions

Young Boys managed to salvage a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier with CFR Cluj with an injury time equaliser.

Cluj had taken the lead after just four minutes in Romania and appeared on course to pick up a crucial win, and that failure to see out the game may well be a huge missed opportunity as we’re expecting Young Boys to make home advantage count on Tuesday.

Young Boys beat Slovan Bratislava at home earlier in Champions League qualifying and were held to a 0-0 draw by Grasshoppers in the Swiss top flight in their two home games so far this term.  The Bern club lost at Sion over the weekend, but do boast a formidable record at their Stadion Wankdorf base and are unbeaten in their last eight competitive home games with seven wins and one draw.

Both teams have scored in three of Young Boys’ last five home games so Cluj may well get on the scoresheet and a 2-1 home win has some appeal in the correct score market.
