Millwall Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

Millwall’s form has improved of late and they’ve won eight of their last 10 home league meetings with Leeds. In addition, 13 of the last 16 league meetings between the pair have been won by the home side, with Leeds winning just one of their six league games this term.

Millwall vs Leeds Predictions

  • Leeds have won just once in six games this term
  • 13 of the last 16 league meetings between the pair have seen a home victory
  • Millwall have won eight of their last 10 home league meetings with Leeds

Lions on the up?

Millwall went through a rough patch after a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough in their season opener, with that win proving less and less remarkable with every passing week.

The Lions lost to Reading, Bristol City and Norwich on the bounce after that, but they rallied ahead of the international break. With a home win over Stoke and a 1-1 draw at Birmingham, they’ve recovered the signature steel which had them tipped for another play-off push this season.

However, they return to action against a Leeds United side who are expected to be right at the top end of the table, so will the Lions struggle again?

Leeds to fall short

There’s little doubt about the talent of the visitors, they’re a much stronger side than their current 15th-place gives them credit for. However, Daniel Farke is having a tough time early on, with his side winning just one of their opening six league games.

The visitors drew 0-0 against Sheffield Wednesday before the break and they head on the road having shown some issues establishing themselves in away games. The Whites want to set a strong pressing style and while they have forced the most high turnovers in the Championship this season (59), they average just eight per game on the road.

Millwall tends to be a tough place to visit and that’s true in this fixture, as 13 of the last 16 league meetings between Millwall and Leeds have been won by the home side. The Lions have picked up eight wins across their last 10 at home to Leeds and given their recent uptick in form, back a home win.
