Roma vs Lazio Predictions

Roma are on the right road

Roma have put themselves in a great position to claim a top-four spot with two games of the Serie A season remaining and their home form has had a huge bearing on their progress.

The Wolves head into their penultimate game of the campaign having been unbeaten in their last 11 matches on their own patch and while Sunday’s game against fellow Stadio Olimpico tenants Lazio, that run should provide them with plenty of confidence.

They have kept clean sheets in seven of those matches and the fact they gained a 3-2 win at Parma last week with two goals in injury-time will have provided a further boost.

Lazio destined for mid-table

While Roma are flying, Lazio have been left licking their wounds with the latest disappointing coming in a midweek Coppa Italia final defeat to champion Inter.

That came after a 3-0 defeat to the same opponents in their most recent league game and they will be keen for the season to end as they contemplate a mid-table finish.

While four of Roma’s last six home matches have produced more than three goals and Lazio have conceded at least twice in three of their last four games, these fixtures tend to be cagey so Roma can come out on to without conceding and a some may find a 2-0 Wolves win an attractive correct-score proposition.
