      Manchester City to Win

      Reason for tip

After their embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Wednesday, Manchester City will be looking to make a statement when they take on West Ham in the capital. Pep Guardiola’s side face a Hammers side that have won just four games at home, so they should be able to respond against weaker opposition.

      Manchester City 2-0

      Reason for tip

The Citizens have the third-best away record in the Premier League, with only Arsenal and Chelsea securing more points away from home. Hosts West Ham have only scored 17 goals in 14 home games and they are without key personnel this week, which should limit their chances of success.

      Antoine Semenyo To Score Anytime

      Reason for tip

Antoine Semenyo has hit the ground running since he moved to the Etihad Stadium and he has scored seven goals for the Citizens. Two of those have come in his last three starts and he has registered six shots on target in as many starts for Guardiola’s outfit.

City to get back on track

Manchester City’s season is in danger of fading away and Pep Guardiola’s squad have a point to prove this weekend.

Wednesday’s 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid has all but ended their Champions League campaign and they need a miracle if they are to advance in Europe after the second leg.

Sceptics will also suggest they need a miracle to win the Premier League this season, with Guardiola’s side seven points behind Arsenal, although they do have a game in hand over their rivals.

West Ham have been dominated in this fixture for over a decade, with the Hammers’ last win in this fixture coming in September 2015. City may have let themselves down in midweek, but that was their only blemish on their record in their last 12 outings.

      Injuries to play their part

Manchester City’s defensive woes have certainly been their Achilles heel this season, but they have what it takes to record a rare clean sheet this week.

The Citizens have only kept three clean sheets in their last 10 away matches, but they face a Hammers side that may lack the firepower needed to trouble them.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have scored in seven of their last 10 at the London Stadium, but they are without Crysencio Summerville this weekend.

The former Leeds United winger has been one of West Ham’s best players in recent weeks, chipping in with seven goals since the start of January.

His absence will put a lot of pressure on Jarrod Bowen and if City can silence the England international, there’s every chance they record a shutout.

      Semenyo to lead City’s charge

There is no doubt who is City’s main man in the final third, and Erling Haaland’s 29 goals in all competitions are a testament to that.

Semenyo has seven to his name in the City blue and he has been in fine form since his January switch from Bournemouth.

The Ghanaian has had at least two shots in five of his last six appearances for City. Semenyo has hit the target with five shots in six meetings and he should get plenty of service against a struggling West Ham.
